Today was a lovely day. I've been having a lot of those lately. The fights have stopped. They never last long, but they always have me worried.

Friday was the return to the loveliness that my life with Kevin usually has to offer. We had a wonderful day watching House, making dinner, going out for ice cream, and playing Sims 2 with our virtual family. To the average person, an absolute day of nonsense. To me, the most wonderful day ever.

Saturday I met up with Melissa from Cosplay Chess and we gossiped about Otakuthon and other anime conventions. It was loads of fun; she is a really great person. Sam came to meet me afterward, and we worked on panels and went out for dinner in Chinatown. Then met up with my lovely boyfriend for the fireworks, and ate beaver tales. :)

Today, after my two swimming lessons, I picked up Kevin and we went shopping. He helped me chose a new pair of shoes (since he's always complaining about my old ones). Then we headed off to the shopping center near the cinema, where I bought two pairs of shorts. We got lunch and then went to see the new batman movie, The Dark Knight, which was awesome. Can you believe, in 9 months, it's the first movie we go see alone together? haha.

The rest of the week will be long... I have to get up early every day to teach, and I only get to see Kevin on Friday, when he comes to spend the day with me and then drive me downtown for the weekend. Otakuthon in 5 days!
