Look after my heart
The past 3 days have been amazing. Hands down, greatest weekend I've had so far this summer. So many fun things going on at once, and being with the people I love the most, made everything amazing. I won't go into an extensive description of every single one of our minutes, but an overall story should suffice.
Friday after work, Kevin came over with his lovely little dog Maggie. We went to the mall to buy shoes with his 30% rebate at Foot Locker, and then spent the day at my house, in the pool and watching the dogs. We left around 5ish to get to Montreal, stop at the pharmacy, drop his car off at his mom's salon, and then headed to get out badges at Otakuthon. We had dinner at the buffet with Sam & Kat before heading home for a good night's rest.
Saturday was the beginning of Otakuthon! :D We arrived early for our first panel and skipped the line-up because of my cool pre-reg Host badge. After Shonen-ai in CLAMP (which was filmed, and will have a link to here soon), we hung out at the dealer's & artist's, saw the 404s (links to come soon too), and basically had a great time. There was a dead period after the 404s and before our last panel of the day, CLAMP here we come, so we napped. haha. We got home very late, since we stayed for the 404s late night show, but it was totally worth it. Finally went to bed around 3 am for a very short night of sleep!
Sunday, Kevin and I arrived early again, since I was Assistant-Director for Cosplay Chess. He got a volunteer badge and helped us set-up. For its first year, it was a huge success. Again, after this we went to the dealer's & artist's, got our picture taken at the Purikura, and headed out for lunch. Sam, Kat, Kevin and I ate at the Café Cosplay. After a while, Kat & Kevin went to volunteer at the Café, while Sam & I prepared our last panel (Shojo). Our panel went great, and I'll be posting La Corda d'Oro here soon! :) Sam and I then met Kevin at the 404s Sunday Show, and after a last look around, Kevin and I headed home.
Very cool weekend, with very cool people. I spent a lot of money, but the memories made were well worth it. I can't wait till the next Con!

Aussi, la natt c'est vraiment amusant (et parfois toff.) mais vraiment l'fun avec toi!
